Hi! Welcome to my brand spankin’ new blog, Healthy and Wellthy. My name is Tess, and I am a Nurse Practitioner who not only loves health and wellness, but also helping others to lead healthier and wellthier lives too.
Since health and wellness does not only mean things like diet and fitness (see what I mean over on the Wellness page), you’ll find posts that cover lots of different topics on this blog. You’ll see articles that give you real facts about commonly asked questions about health. And you’re not the only one who is trying to up their game when it comes to health and wellness; I’m right there with you. So you’ll also see posts about me and my trials and tribulations (and hopefully triumphs) when it comes to being a healthier person.
But enough about that and a little more about me. You already know what I do, but let me also tell you that I have a fan-freaking-tastic husband (seriously, his husbanding is expert level).
Here we are being all in love and stuff.
And here’s us in our natural state.
Besides us, our little family consists of two cats and a dog. And we love them. And talk about them. And take pictures of them. Like these ones.
Su is the black and white cat. She purrs with her voice and has 6 toes on her front feet and 5 on the back (that picture is a pretty accurate depiction of her…she is not amused). Toonces is the greyish cat. He’s cross-eyed and thinks he’s a dog- even loves to have his belly rubbed. Sonja is the pup, and she is a super sweetheart and thinks she can take on any other animal, even horses.
Told ya I like to talk about them.
Besides being in charge of this here little blog, you might also be able to find me running (and working on my fitness in various other ways), decorating my house (seriously love that DIY life), with my nose in a good book (how cliche), trying out a new recipe, or maybe checking out a local brewery with the hubs and friends. Oh, or maybe laying on the couch watching Netflix…that’s the kind of marathon I can really get into.
Alright, thanks for taking the time to get to know me a little better, but that’s enough about me for now.
