I have to confess to you, I have often had negative thoughts and fears about starting this blog in the name of health and wellness. Because I am not one of those lovely ladies you see on the fitness photos with the perfectly glistening abs. Not even a little bit. My diet is far from perfect, my muscles are not really visible, I don’t even come close to winning the races that I run, sometimes I take more days off than I should, and I certainly haven’t cracked the secret to feeling well all the time. So why should I be telling anyone what to do when it comes to diet and exercise or health and wellness? Happy Monday my friends! Today I’m going to share with you this week’s meal prep.
To get started, I followed the same basic process that I always do when I’m planning out the week’s meals, which I discussed in detail in last week’s post, How to Make Meal Planning Work for You. I used Pepperplate to plan out the meals, and this is what this week looks like.
Everywhere you look, everyone is promising you how if you would just do what they say, they can turn you into that one girl in that thing you pinned on pinterest where she’s laying on her back and you can see her hip bones. You know the one.
This series is going to talk about a few of those most popular plans and the promises they make. We’ll discuss the premise of the plan, some pros and cons, and what the final verdict is. We are going to cover a little more than the basics, but know that the really nitty gritty details of these plans are beyond the scope of this series.
