What’s a Nurse Practitioner?
A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a licensed provider who practices in many healthcare settings and provides nursing and medical services. They practice independently and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat short-term and long-term illnesses, while emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. NPs can order, conduct, and interpret certain diagnostic and laboratory tests, and prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies. NPs also focus on teaching and counseling their patients.
Do you have any cats?
Of course I do! Meet Su and Toonces (10 points if you know what Toonces’s favorite activity is!)
Are you married?
Yep, and to the best guy in the world. Seriously. Here’s proof.
You probably have a dog too, don’t you?
You know me so well. This is Sonja, my sweet girl.
Does your dog dance?
How did you know?!
Have you ever run a race?
Have you ever worn a wig?
What a weird question. No, I don’t think I’ve ever worn a wig.
I really don’t know.
Ok, so maybe these aren’t questions that I’m actually frequently asked. Or maybe ever asked. Ask me some of your own questions and maybe I’ll add them to this page!
