So often we think about how badly we want to lose weight, and we look at pictures of thin, fit, and beautiful women and set lofty goals in our heads about how we want to look and how we want to be. Or we scroll through pinterest or facebook or instagram (or some other version of the internet…is there anything else?) and we see all these posts and quotes about fitness and we think, Yeah! Anyone else have a rough weekend with all that Halloween candy? HOLY cow! Halloween candy is a sneaky, persistent, strong-willed beast. I envy her stamina.
If you avoided all that candy, well done! Seriously, you have earned a pat on the back. But if you had a rough weekend and slipped a little bit with the candy (or the beer), don’t be too hard on yourself. It happens to the best of us. And with the candy being clever as it is, it’s almost like there was no choice.
