You know those days where you feel like you need to workout, but you just can’t find the time? Work, family, house, they all seem to be demanding too much of your attention to be able to take a few minutes to just work on that fitness. When you have those days, you can still get it done. This is a time when it’s all about quality over quantity. As I’m sure you’ve heard, high intensity interval training is WHERE IT’S AT when it comes to quality workouts that get your metabolism going, burn calories, and trigger weight loss.
What’s that you’re saying? You don’t have time to get to the gym, even for a short workout? You don’t have weights at home? NBD. You can do this one anywhere, no equipment required. Bathroom, living room, office, neighbor’s bathroom (what?). Wherever.
So enough with the excuses. Go spend 10 minutes on yourself!
This workout is good for any fitness level. I don’t care if you do 2 burpees or 100 burpees in 50 seconds. Although, if you’re doing 100…I feel like you might need a break.
For the squats, do air squats, sumo squats, or add some weight- whatever you’re ready for.
When you do the planks, you can do all three sets the same, or do a regular plank for the first, and side planks (right and left) for the other two rounds. Make it your own!
No matter what, start where you are, and build. It’s all about progress!
Let me know if you give this workout a try and tell me what you think!
